We packed all the gear into the canoe and camped off the lake. We only had one small tent besides our huge canvas tent, so we bought the girls this small one. Maddie and Sydnie actually slept in it all night themselves. This was the first time I saw fireflies.

Looks like lots of fun! I've always wanted to go on a another wilderness canoe trip after the Shoshone Lake trips. Michigan or Wisconson have some great areas. Do the girls like camping?
