Adventures at Home and Away

Here is cowgirl Witnie.

Yesterday we did 2 more missions. We started at The Sea Center Texas.
This is our walk on the boardwalk.

We found a friend.

We got to take a tour of the fish hatchery that is run there.

There are some aquariums inside, with one aquarium housing a nurse shark.

It also has a crab touch pool.

After that we headed to Matagorda Bay. I din't get many pictures because my camera battery ran out.

At home we had more excitement.

We just can't seem to ever get rid of the bunnies.

Arboretums and Nature Centers

Yesterday we did a couple more missions.

Our first stop was the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. We went on a hike and then ended at the nature center.

The second place we went was the Sim Bayou Urban Nature Center.

It rained pretty much the whole time we were there. We learned about trees and had to go identify some.

More Adventures

We did a hike at a state park after we saw the battleship.
The girls were tired by the end of the hike.

On Saturday Maddie and I went on a canoe trip with some friends. We paddles up a bayou and then ate lunch and painted a water color (all in the boat).
