Maddie's Bike

It took Mark about 20 minutes to teach Maddie to ride without training wheels.

Camping and hiking

We packed all the gear into the canoe and camped off the lake. We only had one small tent besides our huge canvas tent, so we bought the girls this small one. Maddie and Sydnie actually slept in it all night themselves. This was the first time I saw fireflies.

The Beach and the Zoo

Mark took his scouts to the beach on Saturday, so we tagged along.

My garden is going crazy!

We went to the zoo for Sydnie's end of preschool field trip.

Sydnie's class is all boys, so we invited her friend. They were actually born on the same day.

Maddie's Field Day

This is Maddie's class at field day yesterday.

All of the kids got to participate in relays. The bottom picture is the sponge relay where they had to run to the end of the field and have their teacher squeaze a sponge on their head.

We went camping at the beach over the weekend.
