Four Missions in Two Days

Our first mission was at Shangri La Botanical Gardens. I took a boat tour with Maddie and Brooklyn. My friend Rebekah took the younger kids around the gardens (what a woman!)
She had Sydnie, Kailey, Witnie, and Luke (4 kids with Sydnie being the oldest).

We had to measure pine cones and needles at Village Creek State Park for our second mission.

Witnie loves camping and getting dirty.
A bird nest the girls found on the ground during our nature hike for the third mission. This was at Martin Dies Jr State Park where we camped.

Hurray for swimming holes in the summer.

Our final mission was at Big thicket National Forest. We had to find leaves and make leaf rubbings. We left the Dad's with the little kids at the air conditioned nature center and took the older girls on the leaf hunt.

Short trip to Utah

I had a great trip to Utah to attend my friend Ashley's wedding. Then I got to be there Sunday for Zoie's blessing. I did just great with the camera and took 2 whole pictures. Oh well.

Zoo and Maddie's Graduation

We went to the zoo for our Mission Impossible summer adventures.

Witnie would not touch the goats, but she finally tried to brush them (as long as they didn't look at her).
A bunch of ragamuffins in a nest.

Maddie graduated from kindergarten on Wednesday.
