Backpacking

Mark took Maddie and Sydnie backpacking last night. The kidos both hiked 2 miles in and 2 miles out. They were quite excited to see fireflies for the first time. They were both apparently also quite fascinated with this spider web.

Witnie is getting bigger.

We attempted making shishkabobs and they turned out fabulous.

We have to go to the pool to tame that hair.
Witnie is still a bit little for the pool,

but not for playing with Daddy.

Princess Maddie

Only in Texas: We were reading about Solomon's Temple in the kid scriptures the other night. Maddie saw a picture of the baptismal font and asked, "Are those golden Texas longhorns?"

Grandpa Visits

Maddie earned a princess dress from Grandpa, so we had a princess party.
