I don't think I could get that close to an alligator. I blame it on the church. I've seen that spiritual crocodiles movie too many times in seminary. You know, the one with the talk by Boyd K. Packer. The movie shows those crocodiles jumping at least that far to catch those antelopes. No thank you.
